Groupama Türkiye is experiencing the joy of celebrating the 95th anniversary in the history of Turkish insurance industry. Starting from 1924, the company which operated under the brand names Güven, Başak and finally Groupama keeps up directing the insurance industry of Turkey for 95 long years.

We will continue to strengthen our presence in Turkey!

Groupama Sigorta and Groupama Hayat General Manager, Philippe-Henri Burlisson, who underlined the importance of Groupama’s 95-year-old presence in Turkey both for the insurance industry and for the national economy stated: “It has been 95 years since 1924 when our story in Turkey first began. Throughout this period, we witnessed the stories of people who produce value in both economic and social terms. We will continue to strengthen our presence in Turkey together with our employees and insurance agencies.”

Burlisson who remarked on his company’s belief of the potential and future of the Turkish insurance industry, stated: “With our international knowledge and experience, we are entitled to the economic and technological developments, trends and the impact of these on the entire insurance industry. We plan to strengthen our presence in Turkey and to grow in future years whilst producing trust and value. With our vast experience and deep-rooted history, we look to the future with confidence.”
