Groupama starting 2019 with realizing sustainable and growth strategy, started to see its positive results on its balance. Groupama Sigorta whose contract with the Agricultural Credit Cooperative ended in 2018, showed a significant growth especially in agency channel in the first three months of 2019.
While the sector shows 24.2% growth in agency premium generation of non-life fields compared to the same period last year, Groupama Sigorta realized its growth above the sector by 33.6% growth.
46.4% increase in automobile insurance
Groupama had 46.4% increase in automobile insurances with its partnerships and high renewal rates despite the decrease in automobile sales. This rate is 16% for the sector. Even though as the end of March, policy issuing rate in the sector decreased 7.5% in automobile insurance field compared to the same period last year, Groupama Sigorta had 15.5% increase in this field.
Stating that as Groupama Sigorta and Groupama Hayat, they generated 50.5 Million TRY net profit, Groupama General Manager Philipppe-Henri Burlisson said that “Our results for the first three months of the year that we declared as the transformation year are very exciting. We achieved to increase our total premium generation above the sector excluding ACC (Agricultural Credit Cooperative) premiums. I sincerely believe that we will have same results at the end of the year with our strategy “we will achieve together”. I congratulate all my friends and agencies.”
