Drivers prefer gasoline-powered vehicles in 2019

According to an Analysis of Smart IQ examining millions of samples with new generation technologies of Turkey; while diesel vehicles were preferred more in the second-hand vehicle market in 2018, gasoline vehicles were highly preferred in 2019. 59% of the second-hand automobiles sold in May 2018 were diesel vehicles, and this ratio decreased to 51% in 2019 compared to the same period the previous year.

According to an Analysis of Smart IQ examining millions of samples with new generation technologies of Turkey; while diesel vehicles were preferred more in the second-hand vehicle market in 2018, gasoline vehicles were highly preferred in 2019. 59% of the second-hand automobiles sold in May 2018 were diesel vehicles, and this ratio decreased to 51% in 2019 compared to the same period the previous year.

The ratio of gasoline vehicles sold as second-hand increased from 40% up to 48%.

WHITE VEHICLES WERE HIGHLY PREFERRED IN MAY 2018

49% of the 100 White vehicles offered for sale in the second-hand vehicle market were sold over the same period in May 2018.  This ratio was 48% for grey vehicles. In May 2019, this ratio increased to 53% for white vehicles and 54% for grey vehicles.

DEMAND FOR SECOND-HAND PASSENGER CARS INCREASED IN MAY 2019

Demand for second-hand passenger cars increased by 4% compared to the previous year. In May 2018, 48 of every 100 vehicles were sold in the same month, while this figure was 52 in 2019.

RED VEHICLES WERE SOLD MORE IN ESKISEHIR IN MAY 2019

Eskişehir preferred the highest rate of red vehicles in the second-hand vehicle sales in May 2019 with a ratio of 9%. It was followed by Trabzon and Ordu. one of every 10 sold vehicles in Eskişehir was red in 2019. A segment became the segment where the red car was mostly preferred.
